Beaphar Lactol Kitten Milk has been specifically developed for kittens and therefore better suited than Puppy Milk, for the following reasons: increased protein content, rich in vitamin A and extra added taurine.

Beaphar Lactol is made from highly digestible whey protein. Whey protein is known for its very high biological value and essential amino acids (building materials of protein). Ultrafiltration ensures the concentration of the proteins.

A slow careful drying process at a low temperature during production preserves the protein molecules and even the fragile immunoglobulin molecules. This careful drying process can even yield up to 10% better growth than powder dried in the conventional way, thanks to the improved digestibility of the proteins. Beaphar Lactol has a superior amino acid content and provides a perfectly balanced, complete nutrition.

DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) is naturally present in breast milk and plays an important role in brain and vision development. DHA has been shown to improve cognitive ability and visual acuity in newborn mammals. Much has been published about the added value of DHA, but this knowledge is rarely applied in milk replacers. DHA has been added to the Lactol Kitten Milk to support kittens in optimal development.
